B.C.W.T. Although stakes opportunities are scarce, a pair of promising OBS graduates posted allowance victories on Sunday.

At Oaklawn, Hronis Racing LLC’s Edgeway came around horses to take command of a $61,000 six furlong allowance at the top of the stretch and rolled from there to victory by a length and a half, with fellow OBS graduate High On Gin (June ’19, October ’18) checking in third. Third in Oaklawn’s Purple Martin Stakes in her last start, the 3-year-old filly by Competitive Edge, trained by John Sadler, has been on the board in all three starts and earned $98,800 to date.
