Slam Dunk Racing, Doug Branham and Legacy Ranch Inc.’s Tonalist’s Shape sat just off the early pace in Friday’s $75,000 Hollywood Wildcat Stakes at Gulfstream, took command on the turn for home and drew away down the stretch to score by 3-3/4 lengths over fellow OBS graduate Dream Marie (March ’19). It’s the fourth stakes victory for the graded stakes winning 3-year-old filly by Tonalist, now 7-6-0-0 for trainer Saffie Joseph, Jr. with $357,425 in earnings. Consigned to the 2019 OBS April Sale by Niall Brennan Stables, Agent, she went through the ring after turning in an eighth in :10 2/5 at the Under Tack Show.
