The sale begins on Tuesday, January 26th at 10:30 a.m. noon with Hip No.’s 1 -177 cataloged in the Consignor Preferred Session. The Horses of Racing Session, cataloged as Hip No.’s 251 – 345 begins immediately following the conclusion of the Preferred Session. The Open Session, with Hip No.’s 451 – 789 cataloged, is set for Wednesday, January 27th and will also begin at 10:30 a.m.
The Under Tack Show for the Horses of Racing Age Section is set for Monday, January 25th and will begin at 9:00 a.m.
The Under Tack Show and Sale will be streamed live via the OBS website as well as the DRF, TDN, BloodHorse and PastTheWire websites.
OBS will again offer Online Bidding during the Winter Mixed Sale. Buyers will be able to go to the OBS website and register to gain bidding approval, then access the OBS Bidding Screen with their credentials. LRE Racing LLC and JEH Racing LLC’s Casa Creed, third in Saratoga’s Fourstardave (G1) this past summer and made the grade in last year’s National Museum of Racing’s Hall of Fame Stakes (G2) at the Spa. The 4-year-old son of Jimmy Creed is trained by Bill Mott and will leave from post seven under Junior Alvarado. Purchased for $15,000 out of the Janie Roper consignment at the 2017 Winter Mixed Sale, he’s now 15-3-2-3 and has earned $460,508.
Gaining Ground Racing LLC’s Factor This has won five of his last six trips to the post and comes in off a victory in Pimlico’s Dinner Party Stakes (G2).
