Grade 1 winner Cy Fair (Not This Time-Remarqued, by Arch) proved much the best with a stalk-and-pounce victory in the Grade 3, $225,000 Coronation Cup at Saratoga Race Course on July 18, leading the slate of stakes-winning OBS graduates.

Trained by George Weaver for owners Medallion Racing, Swinbank Stables, Joey Platts and Mark Stanton, Cy Fair has now won four of her last five starts, including her victory against males in the Grade 1 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint at Del Mar. She scored a one-length victory in the Grade 3 Mamzelle on April 30 at Churchill Downs in her start prior to the Coronation Cup.
“I think all things equal; she is the best 3-year-old filly turf sprinter out there,” Weaver told NYRA publicity. “I know it’s not a big category in the (United) States, but she is a pretty special horse. We’re very proud of her. I think as good as she is, even though she’s a 3-year-old filly, we might try to get to the Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint against older.”
Cy Fair was purchased by Swinbank for $185,000 at the 2025 OBS April Sale out of the Niall Brennan Stables consignment after breezing in :9 4/5.
At Del Mar on July 17, Proletariat (Raging Bull—Kodiak West (IRE), by Kodiac (GB)) popped the gate in the featured Oceanside Handicap, grabbed a short lead early in the $150,000 mile turf test, then never looked back as he recorded 5 ¾ length victory and became the first stakes winner for his sire.
Trained by Jeff Mullins for owners Dutch Girl Holdings and Irving Ventures, Proletariat posted a final time of 1:33.54, tying the stakes record. He was purchased at the 2025 OBS March Sale by his owners for $200,000 from the GOP Racing Stable consignment after breezing in :10 flat.
