Lea Farms’s Super Chow (Lord Nelson – Bonita Mia, by Warrior’s Reward) moved closer to becoming a millionaire when he notched a 1¾-length victory in the $95,000 Get Serious Stakes at Monmouth Park June 15 to lead the slate of stakes-winning OBS grads over the weekend.

The field was reduced to just four starters when the five-furlong dash was taken off the grass. However, Super Chow was able to take back and improved his wet track record to four wins and a second from five races on the off going.
Trained by Jorge Delgado, Super Chow has 11 wins from 27 career starts and pushed his career earnings to $957,146. The son of Lord Nelson was purchased for $75,000 out of the Eisaman Equine consignment at the 2022 OBS Spring Sale after breezing an eighth in :10 flat.
At Aqueduct, Paddock Proud’s Mischief Lady (Honest Mischief – Miss Buff, by Friend Or Foe) made every pole a winning one en route to victory in Saturday’s $150,000 Cupecoy’s Joy division of the New York Stallion Stakes Series.
Trained by Edward Barker, the New York-bred returned from a nearly five-month layoff to wire a field of five and earn her first stakes victory. She was purchased for $57,000 at the 2024 OBS March Sale of 2-Year-Olds in Training from the New Hope AB consignment after breezing in :10 1/5.
At Delaware Park June 14, Crown’s Way Racing, NBS Stable, Kevin Marko, and Eli Diamant’s Vote No (Divisidero-Sistas Ready, by More Than Ready) won the $200,000 Cape Henlopen (Listed) Stakes.
Trained by Kelsey Danner, Vote No is a two-time OBS graduate, having been sold by KP Sales at the 2022 October Yearling Sale and then purchased for $50,000 out of the de Meric Sales consignment at the 2023 June Sale after breezing in :10 2/5.
