Ocala, Fl. – Due to weather concerns, the Ocala Breeders’ Sales Company’s 2024 October Yearling Sale will now begin on Monday, October 7th at 3:00 p.m. and continue on Tuesday, October 8th beginning at 11:30 a.m. Hip No’s 1-200 will sell on Monday and Hip No’s 201 -595 will be sold on Tuesday.
Because of the circumstances, the commission on Buybacks will be reduced to 2-1/2 percent.
The Sale will be streamed live via the OBS website as well as the DRF, TDN, Blood Horse, Pastthewire, and Hipismo.net websites. OBS again offers Online Bidding during the October Sale. Buyers will be able to go to the OBS website and register to gain bidding approval, then access the OBS Bidding Screen with their credentials.
