The Supplemental Catalog for the Ocala Breeders’ Sales Company’s 2024 October Yearling Sale is now available via the OBS website at obssales.com and in printed form at the OBS sales grounds. Forty-eight horses have been supplemented; in all 583 horses will be sold.
There are two sessions, set for Tuesday, October 8th and Wednesday, October 9th. Hip No.’s 1 – 266 plus supplements 267 – 288 will be offered on Tuesday and Hip No’s 301 – 569 plus supplements 570 – 595 will be sold on Wednesday. Both sessions begin at 11:30 a.m.
A strong group of sires are represented in the supplemental catalog that are not included the main book: Justify, Nyquist, Essential Quality, Munnings, Practical Joke, Maclean’s Music, Authentic, Daredevil, Cross Traffic, and Honor A. P.
This group joins the outstanding roster of sires in the original catalog, headed by Gun Runner, Maxfield, Yaupon, Candy Ride (ARG), Liam’s Map, McKinzie, Vekoma, More Than Ready, Galilean, Girvin, Violence, Complexity, Leinster, Win Win Win, Uncle Chuck, and Khozan.
OBS again offers Online Bidding during the October Sale. Buyers will be able to go to the OBS website and register to gain bidding approval, then access the OBS Bidding Screen with their credentials. The Sale will be streamed live via the OBS website as well as the DRF, TDN, Blood Horse, Pastthewire, and Hipismo,net websites.
