Zedan Racing Stable’s Arabian Lion made short work of Pimlico’s $99,000 Sir Barton Stakes on Saturday, leading from gate to wire and scoring by four lengths for his first stakes victory. Trained by Bob Baffert, the 3-year-old graded stakes placed son of Justify is now 6-2-2-0 and has earned $217,600. Little Red Feather Racing’s Elm Drive was a convincing winner of Saturday’s $101,000 Mizdirection Stakes at Santa Anita, easing away late to win a length and a quarter. It’s the fourth stakes victory for the 4-year-old daughter of Mohaymen, trained by Phil D’Amato, now 10-5-0-1 with $408,140 in earnings.
