Lawrence Goichman’s Myhartblongstodady led early in Friday’s $125,000 John Hettinger Stakes at Belmont, was headed on the backstretch, took the lead back a furlong out and scored by three quarters of a length. It’s the third stakes victory for the 6-year-old mare by Scat Daddy, trained by Jorge Abreu, now 15-6-3-3 with $442,966 in earnings. It’s the first stakes win for the 5-year-old son of First Samurai, purchased for $125,000 out of the All Dreams Equine consignment at the 2018 OBS March Sale after turning in an Under Tack eighth in :10 flat.
