The Supplemental Catalog for the Ocala Breeders’ Sales Company’s 2021 October Yearling Sale is now available via the OBS website at obssales.com and available in printed form on the OBS sales grounds. The two-day sale is set for Tuesday and Wednesday, October 12th and 13th.
Seventeen Selected Yearlings have been supplemented and will sell as Hip No.’s 136 – 152. Thirty-two horses have been added to the Open Yearling Sale, selling as Hip No.’s 565 – 596.
The Selected Yearling Sale begins Tuesday, October 12th at 1:00 p.m. with Hip No.’s 1 – 152 offered for sale. The Open Yearling Sale, now cataloged as Hip No.’s 201 – 596, is set for Wednesday, October 13th and will begin at 11:00 a.m.
OBS will again offer Online Bidding during the October Sale. Buyers will be able to go to the OBS website and register to gain bidding approval, then access the OBS Bidding Screen with their credentials. The Supplemental catalog boasts an impressive roster of sires not represented in the original October catalog. Empire Maker heads the list which includes Ghostzapper, Honor Code, Liam’s Map, Mo Tom, Twirling Candy, Uncle Mo and Union Rags.
Classic winner Always Dreaming is represented in the Supplemental as well as in the original catalog, as are Bolt d’Oro, Good Magic, Good Samaritan, Hard Spun, Mendelssohn, Tapwrit and Violence.

Exline-Border Racing LLC, SAF Racing and Richard Hausman’s Lady Mystify added her name to the long list of graded stakes winning October Yearling graduates last Saturday with a three length victory in the $200,000 Remington Park Oaks (G3). It was the first stakes score for the 3-year-old daughter of Bernardini, trained by Peter Eurton, leaving her with a 6-3-1-1 record and $217,520 in earnings. LNJ Foxwoods’ Outfoxed, who broke her maiden in Gulfstream’s FTBOA Florida Sire Susan’s Girl Stakes in August, returned to Hallandale this past Saturday and romped to a 9-1/4 length victory in the $400,000 FTBOA Florida Sire My Dear Girl Stakes. The 2-year-old Florida-bred filly by Valiant Minister, is also a two-time OBS graduate. Sold first by Abbie Road Farm at the 2020 October Yearling Sale, she sped an Under Tack quarter in :20 4/5 at the 2021 Spring Sale and was purchased for $360,000 out of the Coastal Equine consignment. Monarch Stables Inc.’s Last Leaf led an OBS sweep of Saturday’s $75,000 Hollywood Beach Stakes, beating Nerve (April ’21) by a head, with Barone Casco (April ’21, October ’20) settling for third. It was the stakes debut for the 3-year-old daughter of Not This Time, trained by Ron Spatz, now 5-3-1-0 with $107,490 in earnings. The two-time OBS graduate was sold by Sharon Biamonte, Agent, at the 2020 Winter Mixed Sale and then purchased for $23,500 out of the Kaizen Sales consignment at the 2020 October Sale. On September 18th, Full of Run Racing, LLC and Madaket Stables LLC’s Dreamalildreamofu won the $100,000 Twixt Stakes at Laurel, the second stakes win for the 4-year-old graded stakes placed daughter of Commissioner. She’s a two-time OBS graduate, sold first at the 2018 October Selected Yearling Sale, then purchased for $65,000 out of the Advanced Thoroughbreds consignment at the 2019 June Sale after breezing an eighth in :10 flat at the Under Tack Show.
