Sierra Racing & Sterling Stables LLC’s Raymundos Secret led from gate to wire in Saturday’s $151,500 John C. Mabee Stakes (G2) at Del Mar, holding off a late charge and winning by a neck. It’s the first stakes win for the 4-year-old Florida-bred filly by Treasure Beach, now 7-5-0-0 with $188,971 in earnings for trainer Phil D’Amato. Consigned by Pleasant Acres Farm, she was sold for $7,000 at the 2017 OBS October Yearling Sale.
