Cash Is King LLC and LC Racing LLC’s Mischevious Alex overcame a rough start to press the pace in the $150,000 Swale Stakes (G3), took charge at the head of the stretch, opened daylight in the lane and was geared down late in a seven length victory. It’s the first stakes win for the 3-year-old colt by Into Mischief, now 6-3-1-1 for trainer John Servis with $179,230 in earnings. He was purchased for $140,000 out of the Eisaman Equine consignment after an Under Tack eighth in :10 flat. watch his under tack video
Slam Dunk Racing, Doug Branham and Legacy Ranch Inc.’s unbeaten Tonalist’s Shape is four for four and a graded stakes winner after tracking the leaders early in the $150,000 Forward Gal Stakes (G3), taking control after turning for home and cruising to a 3-3/4 length victory. It’s the second stakes win for the 3-year-old daughter of Tonalist, trained by Saffie Joseph, Jr. who has earned $190,350. Teresa Palmer and David J. Palmer’s Cheermeister went right to the lead in the $100,000 Sweetest Chant Stakes (G3), set the pace under a hold and held off a late run to win by three quarters of a length. It’s the second stakes victory for the 3-year-old filly by Bodemeister, who was consigned by Winners Circle Thoroughbreds LLC and went through the ring after turning in an Under Tack eighth in :10 1/5.
