It’s the second straight win for the 2-year-old City Zip colt, purchased for $180,000 out of the Randy Miles consignment at the 2017 OBS April Sale after breezing an eighth in :10 1/5 at the Under Tack Show. James M. Miller’s Lovely Bernadette tracked the leaders in Wednesday’s $200,000 Indiana Grand Stakes into the stretch, took over leaving the eighth pole and eased away to win by a length and a half. It’s the second stakes victory for the 3-year-old daughter of Wilburn, trained by Jim DiVito, now 12-5-0-3 with earnings of $300,613.
