Bryan, Jr.’s Celestine was a six time stakes winner since the 4-year-old daughter of Scat Daddy, consigned by Gayle Woods on behalf of Mr. Bryan’s Phaedrus Flights to the 2014 OBS June Sale, breezed three eighths in :32 2/5 at the Under Tack Show, the sale’s fastest work at the distance. She posted five stakes wins, highlighted by her 3-3/4 length victory in Belmont’s Just a Game Stakes (G1) in June, running the mile on the turf in 1:31.63, one hundredth of a second off Elusive Quality’s 1996 track record. Trained by Bill Mott, she earned over $800,000 and was sold as a racing or broodmare prospect for $2,550,000.
