That’s three stakes wins for the 4-year-old filly by More Than Ready, purchased for $225,000 out of the Niall Brennan Stables consignment at the 2014 OBS April Sale after working an eighth in :10 1/5 at the Under Tack Show. North American Thoroughbred Horse Company, Inc.’s Sorryaboutnothing scored his first graded stakes victory in frontrunning fashion, leading from gate to wire and taking the $150,000 British Columbia Derby (G3) at Hastings Park on Saturday by 2-1/2 lengths. Trained by Troy Taylor, the win gives the 3-year-old gelding by Repent an 11-2-0-1 record and $109,891 in earnings. Ken and Sarah Ramsey’s Watchyourownbobber scored his third straight stakes win in the $390,000 More Than Ready Mile Stakes on Saturday at Kentucky Downs, taking command after turning for home and cruising to a 4-1/2 length victory. It’s the fourth stakes win for the graded stakes placed 4-year-old colt by Hard Spun, sold for $62,000 by Hoppel’s Horse & Cattle Co., Agent, at the 2014 OBS April Sale after breezing a quarter in :21 1/5 at the Under Tack Show. Peterson’s Majestic Gale stepped into Louisiana Downs’ $75,000 Happy Ticket Stakes on Saturday straight off a maiden victory, but ignored the rise in class, blew past the leaders coming to the eighth pole and romped by 4-1/2 lengths. The 2-year-old Florida-bred Majestic Warrior filly, consigned to the 2016 OBS March Sale by Top Line Sales LLC, Agent for Kinsman Farm, worked an Under Tack eighth in :10 1/5 before she was purchased by Mr. Peterson for $75,000. Ten Strike Racing’s Allied Air Raid rallied from off the pace to take command of Saturday’s $75,000 Unbridled Stakes at Louisiana Downs a furlong from home, and then ran off from there to a four length victory. It’s the first stakes win for the 4-year-old gelding by Midshipman, saddled by Brad Cox, now 13-4-4-4 with $338,600 in earnings. Randall Plate Handicap on Saturday at Hastings Park, but circled horses on the turn, took over in the lane and eased away to win by a length and a half.
