H. Jack Hendricks and Roger Justice’s East Hall returned home after a summer on the road and came running from well behind to collar fellow OBS graduate Wildcat Red (June ’13) a furlong out and take Saturday’s $100, 000 Million Classic Preview Stakes at Gulfstream Park West by two lengths. Schivarelli (April ’13) completed an OBS trifecta. The two time OBS graduate was sold by Summerfield, Agent, at the 2012 August Sale and then worked an Under Tack quarter in :21 1/5 before he was purchased by trainer Bill Kaplan for $55,000 on behalf of Hendricks and Justice out of the Southern Chase Farm, Inc. (Greg and Karen Dodd) consignment at the 2013 April Sale. It’s the third stakes win for 3-year-old Florida-bred gelding by Graeme Hall, who captured the Ohio Derby and Indiana Derby (G2) earlier in the year. He’s now 19-5-3-4 and has earned $723,305. watch his under tack video

Fellow OBS graduate Morgans Harbour (April ’14) rallied for second. Mr.Jordan, a 2-year-old Florida-bred colt by Kantharos, is a two time OBS graduate, sold by Summerfield, Agent, at the 2013 August Sale and then purchased by trainer Eddie Plesa for $155,000 out of the de Meric Sales consignment at the 2014 April Sale after working a quarter in :21 2/5 at the Under Tack Show. It’s the first stakes win for the 2-year-old Florida-bred colt by Flower Alley, consigned by Beth Bayer, Agent, to the 2013 August Sale before trainer Mike Maker bought him from Blue River Bloodstock, Agent, for $70,000 at the 2014 April Sale after he breezed a quarter in :21 flat at the Under Tack Show.
