It’s the fifth graded stakes win for the 4-year-old son of Into Mischief, trained by Doug O’Neill and purchased by his brother Dennis, who bought him out of the Southern Chase Farm (Greg and Karen Dodd) consignment at the 2012 OBS June Sale for $62,000 after he sped a quarter in :21 1/5 at the Under Tack Show. Braly Family Trust’s Tom’s Tribute scored his second straight graded stakes win in the $250,500 Del Mar Mile Handicap (G2) on Sunday, surging to the lead past the eighth pole and winning by a length. Purchased by Marilyn Braly for $310,000 out of the Wavertree Stables consignment at the 2012 OBS March Sale on the recommendation of Gary Young after he worked an Under Tack eighth in :10 2/5, the 4-year-old colt by Lion Heart is now 13-6-3-1 and has earned $592,880. watch his under tack video
