Lakland Farm’s Unbridled Command made a big run from well back around the second turn of Sunday’s $250, 000 Hollywood Derby (G1), opened daylight in the stretch and cruised to a 1-1/2 length victory. It’s the fifth straight win and second graded stakes score for the 3-year-old colt by Master Command, sold for $28,000 by Sequel Bloodstock (Becky Thomas), Agent, at the 2011 OBS April Sale. Bear Stables, Ltd.’s Bear Tough Tiger picked up the first stakes win of his career in Sunday’s $158,162 Kennedy Road Stakes (G3) at Woodbine, getting up in the final yards to win by a neck. It was the fourth win in eight starts this year for the 4-year-old Florida-bred gelding by Roar of the Tiger, sold first by Beth Bayer, Agent, at the 2009 OBS August Yearling Sale before bringing $70,000 when purchased out of the Harris Training Center consignment at the 2010 OBS April Sale.
