Ifyousaidso Tops OBSOnline January Sale

Ifyousaidso, a winning Florida-bred daughter of Cajun Breeze, elicited a final bid of $110,000 from Dare to Dream Stable Management LLC to top the 2026 OBSOnline January Sale for 2-year-olds and Horses of Racing Age.

Consigned as Hip 402 by breeder Shadybrook Farm, Ifyousaidso is out of the Concerto mare Theladysaidno and is a full sister to multiple stakes winner Cajun Casanova and stakes placed Full Disclosure. The 3-year-old filly has two wins on dirt and turf from four starts, has been on the board in each outing, and most recently posted a three-furlong work in :36 3/5 at Gulfstream Park Jan. 29.

The second highest price horse to sell was Hip 412 Bruno (Independence Hall-Everything Magic, by Street Sense), who was purchased by Rising Sun Racing Stables for $40,000. The dark bay or brown colt consigned by Jose Munoz is a half brother to multiple stakes placed Heldish and breezed a half mile in :47 1/5 during the optional under tack show.

The top selling newly turned 2-year-old was Hip 403, a bay filly by OBS grad Collected out of the multiple Grade 1 winning Tiznow filly Tough Tiz’s Sis who sold for $22,000 to E-Class Racing. Consigned by McKathan Bros. Sales, the filly is a half sister to graded stakes winner and producer Tiz Midnight.

At the close of business Jan. 30, the OBSOnline January sale generated $297,400 in gross receipts from 14 horses sold. The average was $21,243 with the median coming in at $13,000.  Two horses failed to meet their reserve.
