Omar Aldabbagh and Jeff Ganje’s Shotgun Hottie (Gun Runner – Re Entry) sat just off the lead in the $100,000 Allaire DuPont Distaff Stakes, swung out after the leaders on the turn, took command a furlong out and cruised home a 5-1/2 length winner. It’s the fourth stakes win for the 5-year-old graded stakes winning daughter of Gun Runner, trained by Cherie DeVaux, now 19-6-4-2 with $926,557 in earnings.
