RNB Racing LLC’s Shadowbdancing made his fourth straight appearance in Prairie Meadows’ $60,000 Jim Rasmussen Memorial Stakes and won it for the second time after a settling for second in 2010 and third last year. The 2-1/2 length victory, his eleventh stakes win, gives him a 38-14-7-6 record and earnings of $925,147. Gonzales’ Empire Builder won his first stakes race on Saturday at Calder with a half length victory in the $50,000 Mambo Meister Stakes, with fellow OBS graduate Musical Flair (March ’11) moved up into second via disqualification.
