J. Paul Reddam’s I’ll Have Another drove past front running Bodemeister in the final furlong to win the $2, 219, 600 Kentucky Derby (G1) by a length and a half. It’s the second straight grade one victory for the 3-year-old colt by Flower Alley, sold for $35,000 by Eisaman Equine, Agent, on behalf of Victor Davila at the 2011 OBS April Sale. Three for three this year, he’s now 6-4-1-0 and is the newest OBS millionaire with earnings of $2,093,600. I’ll Have Another is the third OBS graduate to win the Derby, joining Lil E. Tee (1992) and Silver Charm (1997).
