Zedan Racing, Winstar Farm and Commonwealth Thoroughbreds’ Country Grammer relaxed just off the pace in the $12-million Dubai World Cup (G1) at Meydan, went after the leaders in the stretch, took the lead at the 100m mark and was best by a length and three quarters at the wire. It’s the second grade one stakes win for the 5-year-old son of Tonalist, second to fellow OBS Spring Sale graduate Emblem Road last time out in the recent Saudi Cup (G1). Trained by Bob Baffert, he has compiled a 10-4-2-1 career record and earned $10,851,685 to date. At the 2019 OBS Spring Sale, he sped an Under Tack quarter in :21 flat before he was purchased for $450,000 by Bradley Thoroughbreds LLC, Agent, out of the Wavertree Stables consignment. watch his under tack video
