It’s the first graded stakes win for the 3-year-old colt by Candy Ride (ARG), trained by Mark Casse, now 10-5-0-1 with earnings of $305,856. Michael Langford’s Limation tracked the leader in the early going of the $300,000 Super Derby (G3) on Sunday at Louisiana Downs, took over in the lane and drew off to a 5-1/2 length victory. It’s the first stakes win for the 3-year-old colt by Alternation, purchased for $100,000 out of the Bobby Dodd consignment at the 2017 OBS April Sale after breezing an Under Tack eighth in :10 1/5.
