Wong Chi Tat’s Forever Young led from start to finish and won Singapore’s $300,000 Chairman’s Trophy (G2) on Sunday by half a length. It’s the second graded stakes victory for the 3-year-old colt by Run Away and Hide, who captured the Singapore Guineas (G1) in the same front-running style on May 14th. Trained by Kuah Cheng Tee, he’s now 8-4-0-1 and has earned $533,285 to date. Cole’s 6-year-old Roman Officer successfully defended his title in the $75,000 West Virginia Legislature Chairman’s Cup Stakes at Mountaineer Park on Saturday, leading every step of the way and turning back fellow OBS graduate American Sailor (April ’14) by a length.
