West Point Thoroughbreds, Scarlet Oak Racing and Titletown Racing Stables’ Dontlookbackatall (Peace and Justice – Celtic Arch) rated off the lead on the outside in Saratoga’s $200,00 Caress Stakes, slipped inside on the turn, swung out for the drive and was best by a neck over fellow OBS graduate Danse Macabre (Army Mule – Sylphide). That’s three straight stakes victories and the first graded stakes win for the 4-year-old daughter of Peace and Justice, now 13-6-5-0 for trainer Christophe Clement with in $487,290 earnings. Jeffrey Sengara’s Midnight Mammouth (Midnight Lute – Taker Home) took the lead at the start of the $100,000 Cougar II Stakes (G3) at Del Mar and never looked back, drawing off in the stretch under a hand ride to score by 10-1/4 lengths. It’s the first stakes win for the 5-year-old son of champion OBS graduate Midnight Lute, sold for $70,000 by CM Thoroughbreds, Agent, at the 2021 OBS Spring Sale after speeding three-eighths in :33 2/5 at the Under Tack Show. Paradise Farms Corp., David Staudacher and JP Racing Stable’s Mischievous Rogue (Into Mischief – Mahna) rated well off the lead in Hawthorne’s $100,000 Robert S. Molaro Memorial Stakes on Sunday, moved three-wide to reach contention turning for home, sustained his run down the stretch and drew off to win by 2-1/2 lengths. Fellow OBS graduate Money War (Declaration Of War – Money Queen) rallied to finish third. It’s the first stakes win for the 6-year-old son of OBS graduate Into Mischief, trained by Mike Maker, now 21-7-5-2 with earnings of $515,697.
