Lord Nelson colt fastest at Under Tack Show’s fifth session

Hip 809, a son of Lord Nelson consigned by Omar Ramirez Bloodstock, Agent, breezed a quarter in :20 4/5 to post the fastest work at the distance at session five of the Under Tack Show for the 2024 OBS June Two-Year-Olds & Horses of Racing Age Sale. The gray or roan colt is out of Kodiak’s Dancer, by Kodiak Kowboy, a half sister to stakes placed Baby Gray.  walk/breeze video

Seven horses shared honors for the session’s fastest eighth, stopping the timer in :10 flat.

A pair of youngsters breezed quarters in :21 1/5.

The Under Tack Show concludes Sunday morning at 7:30 a.m. with Hip No.’s 876 – 1115 scheduled to breeze and streamed live on the OBS website at, as well as the Blood-Horse, DRF, TDN and Past The Wire websites.

 The online catalog contains a sortable master index providing searchable pedigree and consignor information as well as access to pedigree updates occurring since the catalog was printed. Under Tack videos, walking videos and conformation photos are also available.

The iPad version of the catalog can be accessed via the equineline Sales Catalog App. The App allows users to download and view the catalog, receive updates and results, record notes and also provides innovative search, sort and rating capability. For more information and downloads go to:

Under Tack results and videos are posted on the OBS website at and can be viewed on kiosks in the breezeway and in the Video Room adjacent to the Horsemen’s Lounge. In-room viewing is available at The Courtyard by Marriott, Homewood Suites, Hampton Inn & Suites, Residence Inn and the Ocala Hilton, plus lounge viewing is available at the Hilton.

OBS will again offer Online Bidding during the June Sale. Buyers will be able to go to the OBS website and register to gain bidding approval, then access the OBS Bidding Screen with their credentials.
