OBS grads scored in three stakes at Santa Anita on Saturday and Sunday.
Michael Lund Petersen’s June Sale graduate Adare Manor (Uncle Mo – Brooklynsway) bounced right to the front in Sunday’s $196,000 Santa Margarita Stakes (G2) and never looked back, drawing off with ease in the stretch en route to a 4-1/4 length victory. That’s seven graded stakes wins for the 5-year-old mare by Uncle Mo, trained by Bob Baffert, now 17-9-5-0 with $1,856,600 in earnings. After breezing an Under Tack eighth in :10 1/5 at the 2021 OBS June Sale, she was purchased for $375,000 by Donato Lanni, Agent. watch her under tack video

It’s the second graded stakes win over the downhill turf course for the 6-year-old son of Mucho Macho Man, sold for 30,000 at the 2020 OBS Spring Sale by Top Line Sales LLC, Agent, after breezing an eighth in :10 1/5 at the Under Tack Show. Trained by Doug O’Neill, he has compiled a 19-10-2-0 and earned $421,100. watch his under tack video

It’s the second stakes victory for the 4-year-old graded stakes placed daughter of Square Eddie, consigned by Wavertree Stables, Inc. (Ciaran Dunne), Agent, to the 2022 OBS June Sale where she went through the ring after turning in an Under Tack eighth in :10 flat.
