It was the first stakes win for the 3-year-old colt by Always Dreaming, following a pair of near misses in graded stakes company. Now 5-3-2-0 for trainer Brad Cox, he has earned $817,085. Wathnan Racing’s Crimson Advocate has trained up to the race since her victory in the Queen Mary Stakes (G2) at Ascot in June. The 2-year-old daughter of Nyquist was purchased for $100,000 out of the Beth Bayer consignment at the 2022 October Selected Yearling Sale.
