Ashbrook Farm’s Weep No More was overlooked at 30-1 in Saturday’s $500,000 Ashland Stakes (G1) at Keeneland, but although the 3-year-old daughter of Mineshaft was last of five turning for home, she came charging down the middle of the track and ran past the favorites in the final strides to win by a neck. Trained by Rusty Arnold, she picked up her second straight stakes score, her first graded win, and is now 4-3-0-0 with $352,269 in earnings. She turned in an Under Tack eighth in :10 2/5 before she was purchased for $120,000 by Bo Bromagen out of the Mayberry Farm consignment at the 2015 OBS March Sale. watch her under tack video

Anthony A. Lenci’s Catalina Red returned to his favorite racing surface in Tampa Bay Downs’ $75,000 Hilton Garden Inn/Hampton Inn & Suites Sprint Stakes on Saturday, sat just off the pace before taking command in the stretch and scored by a length over fellow OBS graduate Fast Flying Rumor (June ’14). It’s the fourth stakes win for the 4-year-old Florida-bred colt by Munnings, trained by Chad Stewart, now 9-4-1-2 with $172,285 in earnings. A two two-time OBS graduate, he was sold to Nick de Meric, Agent, at the 2013 August Selected Yearling Sale prior to his purchase by Mr. Lenci for $71,000 out of the de Meric Sales consignment at the 2014 April Sale after an Under Tack Quarter in :21 1/5. watch his under tack video   Selected Sale conformation photo

Robert K. Johnson, Frank Coniglio, Richard Rendina and S. Ritman’s Speed Seeker picked up her second stakes win in Saturday’s $75,000 Pleasant Acres Stallions Distaff Turf Stakes at Tampa Bay Downs, taking the lead at the start at never looking back en route to a two length victory. A graded stakes winner at two, the 5-year-old Florida-bred daughter of Heatseeker (IRE), trained by Joan Scott, is now 19-5-1-1 and has earned $260,438. She was purchased for $10,000 out of the Classic Quarter Farm consignment at the 2012 OBS August Sale.

H. Beau Lane III’s Blip n’ Th Bye took command of the $50,000 Cajun Miss Stakes at Evangeline Downs a furlong from home and she drew away from there to a 5-1/4 length victory. It’s the first stakes win for the 3-year-old filly by Tale of Ekati consigned by Eisaman Equine to the 2015 OBS April Sale where she turned in an Under Tack eighth in :10 2/5. Trained by Albert Stall, Jr., she’s now 4-2-1-1 and has earned $73,300 to date. watch her under tack video
