Reddam Racing’s Gomo punched her ticket to the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies (G1) in Friday’s $400, 000 Alcibiades Stakes (G1) at Keeneland, taking command turning for home and drawing away to a 2-3/4 length victory. Trained by Doug O’Neill, the 2-year-old daughter of Uncle Mo was purchased by Dennis O’Neill for $75,000 out of the Eddie Woods consignment at the 2015 OBS March Sale after breezing an eighth in :10 2/5 at the Under Tack Show. Her first stakes win gives her a 5-2-1-2 record and $332,320 in earnings. She’s the tenth OBS graduate to take the Alcibiades, beginning with Post It in 1994. She was followed by Scratch Pad (1999), Runway Model (2004) and She Says It Best (2005) before Negligee, Wickedly Perfect, Stephanie’s Kitten, Spring in the Air and My Conquestadory captured consecutive renewals from 2009 through 2013. watch her under tack video
