It was the second straight stakes win for the 4-year-old daughter of Street Sense, sold for $9,500 by Kings Equine Inc., Agent, at the 2011 OBS April Sale. Morey, Roger Newman and Ray Pagano’s Positive Response closed strongly in the final furlong and scored by 2-1/4 lengths in Saturday’s $57,550 County of Alameda Handicap at Pleasanton. Loooch Racing Stable’s Caviar N Champagne posted her second straight stakes win Sunday with a half length victory in the $50,000 J. Wm Petro Memorial Handicap at Thistledown. Sold for $13,000 by Lynne Boutte, Agent, at the 2010 OBS August Sale, the 4-year-old filly by Formal Dinner is now 22-6-4-4 and has earned $188,404 to date.
