Repole Stable’s Notacatbutallama rated off the early going in Belmont’s $150, 000 Hill  Prince Stakes (G3), swung wide for the drive, hit the front a furlong from the finish and held Play It Loud at bay and scored by a neck. It’s the first graded stakes win for the 3-year-old colt by Harlan’s Holiday, sold by de Meric Sales, Agent, for $105,000 at the 2012 OBS April Sale. The win gives him a 10-4-3-1 record and earnings of $308,334. watch his under tack video

C R K  Stable’s Kobe’s Back, making his first start in Hollywood’s $101,000 Willard L. Proctor Memorial Stakes, broke poorly and was dead last in the early going. But the 2-year-old colt by Flatter, sold for $480,000 by Niall Brennan Stables, Agent, at the 2013 OBS March Sale, got his act together in the stretch and ran by all eight rivals, drawing off to an impressive 3-1/4 length victory. The win was worth $60,000. watch his under tack video

Like fellow OBS March graduate Kobe’s Back, Harlingten, Lorill, Klein, Alan Phillip and Philip Lebherz’s Skydreamin made his debut in stakes company. And, like Kobe’s Back at Hollywood, he trailed after a poor break in Saturday’s $55,100 Lost in the Fog Stakes at Golden Gate. But the 2-year-old Sky Mesa colt rallied, circled horses and got up in the final yards to break his maiden, winning by a head. Sold for $80,000 by Imagine at the 2013 OBS March Sale, his first win was worth $30,300. watch his under tack video

Maggi Moss’ Free World scored her fourth straight win, going wire to wire en route to a two length victory in Saturday’s $207,600 Centaur Stakes at Indiana Downs. It’s the second stakes win for the 3-year-old daughter of Stormy Atlantic, consigned by Bridlewood Farm, Agent, to the 2012 OBS March Sale. The win gives her an 8-5-2-0 record and earnings of $252,264.  watch her under tack video

John C. Oxley’s Northern Passion came from off the pace to get up in the final strides and take Woodbine’s $125,400 Zadracarta Stakes by a neck. It’s the first win in three starts this year for the 4-year-old filly by First Samurai, now 11-4-2-1 with earnings of $541,217. The two time stakes winner was sold for $220,000 by Halcyon Hammock Farm, Agent, at the 2011 OBS March Sale. watch her under tack video

Wayne Quanson’s Najran Breeze was a maiden going into the $51,000 Western Canada Handicap at Northlands Park, but took the early lead and never looked back, cantering home a stakes winner by twelve lengths. The 3-year-old gelding by Najran is a two time OBS graduate, sold first by Select Sales, Agent, at the 2011 August Sale before being resold by Paul Sharp, Agent, for $32,000 at the 2012 April Sale.
