Robert I. Sahn and Stanley M. Hough’s Adios Charlie jumped straight from a maiden victory to the $150, 000 Jerome Stakes (G2) at Belmont on Saturday, but the 3-year-old Florida-bred colt by Indian Charlie handled it with ease, scoring his first stakes win by 2-1/2 lengths. Sold for $400,000 by Eisaman Equine, Agent, at the 2010 OBS March Sale, he’s now 3-2-1-0 and has earned $134,040.

Sold first by Journeyman Bloodstock, Agent at the 2007 Fall Mixed Sale, she was consigned by All Dreams Equine, Agent, to the 2008 August Sale before bringing $50,000 when purchased out of the Blue River Bloodstock consignment at the 2009 April Sale. The win, her third straight, gives her a 10-6-0-4 record and earnings of $257,155.
Frank Carl Calabrese’s Romacaca picked up her fourth stakes victory on Sunday at Gulfstream, taking the $75,000 Capital Request Florida Thoroughbred Charities Stakes by a length and a quarter. Consigned by Cashel Stud, Agent, she went through the ring at both the 2007 August and 2008 April OBS Sales.
